Republic Hall
The impressive and imposing Republic Hall has been constructed in place of what once was the Main Courtyard of the Sacra Infermeria. In this hall old masonry and modern technology blend to perfection. The deep red theatre curtain and comfortable seating combined with the yellowed old stone visible in the arches on the sides of the auditorium create a warm and pleasing ambiance. It is ideal for large-scale meetings and conferences and is equipped with theatre lighting, sound systems, and audio/visual facilities as well as Simultaneous Interpretation Facilities for up to eight languages. World-famous orchestras, operas, ballets, and theatrical performances have been produced on the magnificent stage of the Republic Hall.
